Eligibility For Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical College | SKBZMC
To be eligible for admission to the MBBS program, applicants must meet the following criteria.
MDCAT Requirements
The applicant has scored minimum Fifty Five Percent (55%) marks in the MDCAT examination conducted by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council to apply for MBBS Programme.
Academic Qualifications
- Obtained a minimum of Higher Secondary School Certificate qualification (“HSSC”).
- Having obtained minimum Sixty Percent (65%) marks, or a higher percentage as may be notified by the Medical and Dental Council
- Passed the subjects of biology and chemistry and either physics or mathematics in the examination of the Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan
Merit Requirements
No candidate shall be considered eligible on merit if the candidate has not acquired:
- Minimum 65% marks, in HSSC or F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination having minimum twelve years of education
- Minimum 55% marks in the MDCAT examination conducted by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
Quota Requirements
The candidates desirous for admission against quota needs to submit a document issued by concerned authority certifying that applicant is eligible against the quota i.e. domicile certificate, Federal Government Employees Certificate, disability certificate.

Students must first take the MDCAT exam in their home province. SZABMU will release the advertisement for MBBS BDS Admissions in three government-run medical colleges: 1. Federal Medical College Islamabad; 2. Federal Institute of Dentistry Islamabad; and 3. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid Al-Nahyan Medical College Lahore, following the announcement of the MDCAT results by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
To be admitted to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid Al-Nahyan Medical College SKBZMC Lahore, students must apply online via the SZABMU website. SZABMU will post the Merit Lists on its website after the final selection.
